This is for my Game Media class. We're creating environments in Unreal 4 Engine, with at least 3 interactions. I chose to have a drawer open and close, you can “drink” the beer with a click and open or close the door. I will be adding more models to this environment as time goes on. Like food on the table, etc, etc.
There were three major iterations of this; a underground cave, a castle and finally, a medieval(ish) cottage.
The most challenging part of this project wasn't the amount of iterations/concepts it went through, it was finding the right textures and making the walls and floor look the part. I scoured my city to find uneven rock and brick walls but its not an easy thing to find. I'm still not satisfied with their look, so you will see more updates on this project as time goes on, even though I've technically finished it for school.
The only thing I didn't make in this whole environment was the fire and smoke particle, that's a part of Unreal's starter content.
