Creature Mash Up

This is a creature mashup project I completed at CIA in my Concept Art class. I decided to mash a horse and a peacock. I adore the colors of the bird and have always had an interest in horses, they have lovely bone structures. During this time, I had actually just finished the book series, Throne of Glass by Sarah Maas. I was deeply inspired by the fae world she built within her books and wanted to create a creature who could fit in that world.
